2020 Presidential Race

It's not a question of accepting results. It's a question of whether or not every ballot received by election day should be counted... and of course, they should, if those ballots meet the legal voting requirements in their jurisdictions. Trump's strategy is a predictable one. He will be prematurely claiming victory with a lead tomorrow night.
I mentioned to Luther a few days ago, that all ballots don't require counting. If outstanding ballots would not effect the outcome (even if 100% for a single candidate) there is no reason to count them. Of course, this would need to hold true for the senate and rep candidates, too.

Biden has a better chance of winning Tennessee than Trump has of getting 30% of the black vote.

LOL I have a better chance at hitting the mega jackpot on a slot machine in Vegas than Biden does pulling Tennessee . Now that we got that out of the way .. back to Not Going To Happen . ( IMO )

Had nothing to do with covid numbers?

I'd say Covid numbers were definitely a factor in driving down the polls. They haven't change between the end of the last week and today.

Biden's lead in the polls was higher last week than this week and the Senate chances for Dems were better last week than today.

Concluding the market is up because of Biden is not supported by any data - I thought CNN was all about "science"

I really like that we have a Democratic Party Governor in each of those crucial rust belt states: Pennsylvania (Tom Wolf), Michigan (Gretchen Whitmer), Wisconsin (Tony Evers) and Minnesota (Tim Walz). There shouldn't be any shenanigans with getting the votes counted. The Trump legal team will exhaust their options in court, but there just isn't any legal justification for not counting ballots received by election day.

The conservative legal view, the Purcell doctrine, is that judiciaries should not be making election law in general and that as you near election day and the counting of votes, that view becomes iron clad.

That is something I totally agree with and the SCOTUS seems to be adhering to that to date.

SCOTUS will have to toss out their standards to invalidate votes made consistent with state law, as in the transparent Texas suit.
