Trump has dumped less then $10 grand of his own money in this thing. Cancelled his party. Tells me he knows what’s coming.
It won't be close to a tie.I would not condone it but honestly, if Trump loses the popular vote by a record margin but ties the EC and we have to deal with the nuttiness of it going to the House, the country may come apart at the seams. Especially so because of Trump's volatility and how incendiary his commentary will be throughout that process.
I'd rather Biden win, but if he's going to lose then lose in the regular way and save us all from dealing with Trump during that.
I wouldn't put much stock into how much of his own money he's put into his campaign. He pretty much stopped using his own money in 2016 once he secured the nomination. He didn't have to fight a primary battle this year.
New voters will be what puts Trump over the top. Many show up to his rallies. The difference here and 2016 is just flat out how unlikeable Hillary is. Biden’s metrics are significantly higher then hers. It’s why the undecided broke so hard for Trump last election. Nothing suggests Trump will get that edge this time.
