Exactly. Everyone's in a twist about Biden locking down states after we've repeatedly learned the Governors have that power. Everyone's in a twist about Biden's agenda (taxes, etc) even though the Republicans maintained control of the Senate. Time for some good old fashioned gridlock. Often, when the morons in Washington are farting around in gridlock and basically staging a daily Vaudeville show for the news channels, the country thrives because the politicians are out of the way

States need to set a deadline of something like a week before Election Day for mail in ballots. So long as it's announced well in advance, people can plan accordingly. If that doesn't work for them then they can go in on Election Day like anyone else. This last min stuff is crap and invites malfeasance.

You'd need more than a week these days. My brother-in-law mailed me a check 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive it. We live 8 miles apart.

I wonder what the cutoff should be, then. I've both mailed things and were mailed things which never arrived. Your anecdote says 3 weeks isn't enough. Mine says infinite time isnt enough. So, where should the cutoff be? And who has the duty to decide?

I don't know but my Brother is a postal carrier and he's told me that the last two-three weeks have been bizzare.

He said the last few days in particular he's received nothing to deliver except campaign flyers.

Typically he has around quarter tub (the square, hard plastic postal boxes you see in businesses) of first class mail. This would be all non-junk mail...bills, statements, small packet meds, etc. and he typically has 75-100 packages to deliver.

Monday he said he had zero first class mail and 10 packages. Being closed on Sunday typically makes Monday the largest package day and he often has 125+.

He and all his co-workers are expecting a mountain of "held" mail to come in from the processing facility this week.

Getting the count right is one thing, but getting the right count is a whole different matter - requires some coordination. WI looks suspicious - dems can't afford another one like that.

I think you are misreading the map. Trump is currently at 49.6% to Biden's 49.2% of the votes cast.
