If this is legitimate, it proves that someone is registering and voting with illegitimate ballots. And your reputation as a moderate centrist aside, your assurances that they aren't counted aren't enough.

The outrage that they are being counted isn’t enough either.

It’s pretty clear there are illegitimate registered voters with ballots being filled out. It would be interesting to see just how widespread it is. That said, there is no indication they are being counted and according to the link I posted earlier about the Michigan process, these ballots are getting discarded. They are discarding based on dates, no signatures, verified death before the election, etc.. this is all per Republican legislation - so much so that there is worry legitimate voters are getting disenfranchised.

Dead people sending ballots needs to be investigated and prosecuted. No argument here. However there is no evidence these ballots are being counted and it’s unknown just how prevalent this is.

The worry from either side (depending on who is winning, surging, etc) is the people allowed to witness will question every single vote, dispute, slow the process down, even halt the whole thing for various reasons that may not be legitimate. This is what happened in 2000 with the Florida recounts.

Not saying either way if I agree, but there is an argument that more people watching isn’t necessarily the best.
