Are you looking or waiting until things turn more positive?

AMD or Intel on the computers. I built a new Intel earlier, and keep wondering if AMD would have been better. Either way, I'm happy with the result.

One of my odd jobs is a night a week at a place here in Knoxville. I'm just waiting. I don't have children so all my savings belong to me. I'm dangerously tempted to take a few years off but I know I'll go crazy if i do.

Intel has always had the edge for more money, but the threadripper core tech of the AMD CPU's is trending to surpass it in a few years. I'd still take NVIDIA over Radeon though. However, the recent announcements have me considering holding off on purchasing a few of the 3 series and wait for the new radeons.

I went with NVIDIA too. The new one is at the other house and I still haven't loaded Windows - I'm running Linux Mint on it right now, but eventually I guess I'll get around to installing Windows.

You know how it is. As you age the files keep getting fuller (at least that's what I'm claiming), and the file clerks (little neuron synaptic dudes or whatever) keep getting slower. You look for that one word or name and they can't find it. A couple of days later it pops up when you are off on something completely different. What really sucks is you go downstairs and are looking in the fridge trying to remember why you went downstairs in the first place.

No. I really don't do much gaming. I'm really trying to set up to get a lot of my slides scanned and to digitize my old albums - probably tapes, too.
