2020 Presidential Race

No I think you’re right though. The Israelis do it and it works for them.

I know, and I think it has a lot to do with Israeli (the country) culture and the fact that they are virtually surrounded by enemies and need every body they can get sometimes. We have the luxury not to need women in combat. We probably should have had some sort of nation referendum asking women whether they wanted that particular "free right" to include being subject to the draft and registration.

That’s the squads dream right there and no doubt they will use the dementia patient to try and get it pushed through
Everything's free! We'll all be in poverty together! Except for the leftist elites. They'll continue to be rich and happy while the rest of us are begging for bread.

I think it does too. They are taught that the responsibility for survival of the state rests on every citizen and I think it breeds strong civic participation and knowledgeable citizens. We on the other hand with the Canucks to the north and the Mexicans to the south havent faced a mortal threat since WWII

The boomers are gonna gut social security I think.

I'm getting mine, but I did pay for it - and for Medicare. I also get the privilege of paying Medicare premiums and taxes on my SS. Not to mention paying Medicare Part B so that TriCare for Life (the nonfree free for life military medical care for retirees) is available. I'm not complaining about the medical coverage because it's a good deal - just that premiums keep increasing and copays do too.

Sure we do. Improving registration inevitably improves participation. The goal of democracy is participation. Ergo, improving registration improves democracy.

Tell us how hard is for people to register to vote?

Next thing you’ll want is a government ass wiper, it’s too hard and inconvenient for you to do it yourself.

I have tremendous respect for Israel and the people. With globalization and the jobs and skills we've lost, I can't imaging a repeat of WW2 and coming out successful.

Make sure you wear a mask and stay away from your family over the holidays! Obey Biden, be a good little lost sheep
Fortunately our national response managed by trump has been better than any country ever and we built more ventilators than anyone ever thought, so since the virus is under control now, thanks to leadership we haven’t seen since Lincoln, I won’t have to wear a mask.

Any idea what are the educational requirements for that job and where one would apply? Asking for a friend.

Then state your specific statement again.
Look at the few posts I made in the last year four hours or so or post your own criticism of Trump in the current term. So what if he is abrasive and had some ego. He was a counter puncher. Doesn’t have anything to do with what was accomplished. He was an outsider and that is exactly what the nation needed with our history of cronyism and corruption with our elected officials. Hint-Joe Biden the last 47 years.
