Yep sadly my Dad's party is gone...its looking like Brindisi, who calls himself a BD, will survive...the man votes against his constituents 70% of the time..but yet says all the right things. Centrist Democrats are back. But these are not your father’s Blue Dogs.

Look at the few posts I made in the last year four hours or so or post your own criticism of Trump in the current term. So what if he is abrasive and had some ego. He was a counter puncher. Doesn’t have anything to do with what was accomplished. He was an outsider and that is exactly what the nation needed with our history of cronyism and corruption with our elected officials. If we have any hope of survival, we have to keep electing outsiders. The problem is who. I can't say a lot of the CEO types fit, don't trust the investment sector, analytical types aren't charismatic enough to be elected dog catcher, and to much of the population would stumble all over themselves in adoration of Hollywood and news media clowns.
