Is that acceptable to you? Should we just accept past errors and keep making them or insist they be corrected? Do you trust governments that can't do a simple function like manage an election to do more complex things that also affect you? I'm seriously of the opinion that the lowest common denominator in government is the people running the schiffshow - the ones that are there and retained due to quotas or whatever rather than competence. Of course, it's highly possible when a dud is running the show, he/she doesn't want to deal with fledglings who are actually competent.
