This claim is false on its face. The idea that the Vice President has Constitutional authority to pick and choose which candidate's electors he will count would nullify the election and make the Vice President solely responsible for determining who will be President after an election. That is not how the Constitution reads. The Vice President is tasked with announcing the votes of the Electoral College, in the Congress. The States determine how elections are managed. The votes of its citizens determine which candidate's electors represent the State in the Electoral College, which already convened and counted votes from all of the States. The Vice President's job is largely ceremonial. He has no authority to make decisions about the election. His job is to announce the votes presented to the Congress by the Electoral College. Counting the votes in no way means that he decides which sets of electors to count. That's already decided by voters in the Election.

Only if there's a real chance. Otherwise history says it just works in favor of the worse choice. Biden's margin of victory in several states was less than the closest third party candidate's vote count - no assurance most of that count would have gone to Trump, but no third party candidate was anywhere near unsettling Trump or Biden - just low level spoiler range. I used to see it your way, but I gave that up after Perot.

As much as many of us want alternative choices, it's our competitive nature that makes it always come down to a choice of two. We can't even have bowl games with several winners - we had to screw that up and have two teams playing for a mythical championship. It's who we are.

Run a clean election with transparency and no last minute changes like mail in voting and you won't have a clown show. Make it look like there was something out of the ordinary going on and you have something to hide, and you create a lack of confidence. It was avoidable, but poised to happen after playing three plus years of illegal games to get Trump. Your side got what it wanted, and can't understand the animosity that comes with cheating to win.

Sure it was. A few months spent on something of that magnitude was opportunistic because there was too little actual time to work out issues regarding security and voter identification. Common sense would have been to simply expand the bounds of absentee voting - if anything. When people fail to do the obvious, the first question should be why, followed immediately by who gains from the decision.

I'm sure she has old family photos showing everyone just how her & her mother, who's not black at all, sat around the campfire singing their African culture music songs in happiness to a fake made-up holiday. She's a grade A nut job for sure.
