Even with control of congress, this admin is going to be Obama 2.0/Clinton 3.0, which are essentially middle republicans. Not many “progressive” issues will pass when you have a bunch of Wall Street crooks on staff/secretaries in cabinet in every admin and lobbying within congress.

And there's the reality of Dems just don't organize like the right. There's still Dem senators representing purple or slightly right leaning states.
There's certain issues the left can count on their votes but many times, they fear sabotaging their own realection.
