Nothing was saved. We went from stupid to ignorant. The result will be less freedom and I don't believe anyone in govt will ever voluntarily reverse that trend. Especially not someone whose only job for 5 decades had been in govt

Had Trump succeeded in overturning the election, the resulting loss of "freedom" would have dwarfed whatever perceived loss of freedom you think you might experience under Biden.

This makes zero sense. If Trump would have been successful in court that would mean we just experienced a coordinated well planned coup attempt.

State houses throwing out the vote and appointing their own electors. Or that angle where each state casts one vote. Trump was willing to take any avenue to wrongfully be declared the winner. He even pressured state election officials to refuse to certify their own elections.....you haven't already forgotten about GA have you?

ALL would have been triggered, ordered or reviewed by the federal courts. SO he would have in any case had to win in the courts.

Then we can agree the country was "saved" from the chaos that would have transpired during those months before the federal courts finally defeated Trump's efforts to steal the election.

Interesting that you are fine with this level of interference from a shadow group who acted specifically against the will of the public.

The end goal doesnt justify the means. It's how you get every atrocity known to man kind. Some idiot believes they are right to do wrong in order for the greater good. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The group took actions to quell reactions from the public. They directly interfered with the process (note the votes). Either you believe in the mob or you dont.

This is another case of you wanting your cake (people voting) and eating it too (ignoring those same people as soon as the election is over).

It's a trade off. Always has been, always will be.
I don't mind being told to slow to 20 mph when driving through a school zone, but that's just me.
I'm willing to do it for the sake of the kids crossing the street but also with the knowledge that the world is full of morons who will only do what is right when faced with direct personal negative consequences.

Watch the video I posted above. Unbelievable what's happened to this once great nation. We have a fraud administration governing this country. Rome fell. I do believe we are witnessing the beginning of the end of the USA unless the military pulls a Burma and steps in and straightens this fraud out.

Sorry that should have been "not the votes".

The democratic process is more than just the voting process. The people voting are important all the time not every four years. You dont get to ignore 70 million people because they lost.
