2020 Presidential Race

Kamala has gone heels up in the race. I was thinking she would be the nominee after the first debate. However, Tulsi clawed her eyes out ,
possibly at the behest of Biden in exchange for VP. After Gabbard gutted her with a scabbard, Kamala has lost almost all black support. She's toast. Pete is toast for the same reason. That is, no black support.

I guess Biden is currently in the driver's seat, until either his health, gaffes, ties to China and Ukraine, or possible ties to Russiagate take him down. I still don't see him making it another 15 months on top. That leaves Bernie, Pocahontas Warrren and Spartacus Booker. I see the last 2 possibly together on the ticket.

This is pretty much in line with the other post debate polls. Biden still clearly the front runner, Warren gaining ground, mayor Peter has stagnated, and Tulsi pretty much murdered kamala and her chances of being the nominee.

Warren has surprised me the most. She's been steadily on the rise for months.

NBC News contributor raises suspicions over Trump's order to fly US flags half-staff until Aug. 8

NBC News contributor Frank Figliuzzi said Tuesday that President Trump’s decision to fly American flags half-staff until Aug. 8-- in response to the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings-- could be seen by white supremacists as a nod to Adolf Hitler.
Figliuzzi, a former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, made the claim during an MSNBC broadcast with Brian Williams. Trump issued the order on Sunday “as a mark of solemn respect” for the victims of the shootings.

Not sure if Bernie and Warren are playing a game of chicken to see who drops out first and supports the other.

They actually don’t share the same base despite both being progressive. Bernie’s base consists of lower income, working class, and minority voters in comparison to Warren’s who is known to be more college educated white voters. Bernie’s base from a demographic perspective is actually more in line with Biden. While Warren’s is more in line of Harris and Pete.

She never had it to begin with.

Potato. I love it.

South Carolina votes on 2/29. That will effect the late deciders voting on March 3rd, which is probably when this gets whittled down to 2 or 3.

March 3rd states by stakes:

Make or break for one or more candidate:

California
Colorado
Massachusetts
Texas
Vermont (only important if Bernie doesn't crush it)

Pretty Important:

Maine
Minnesota
North Carolina
Virginia

Nice to win:

Alabama
Arkansas
Tennessee
Oklahoma

No one cares:

American Samoa
Democrats Abroad
Utah

I'm going to push the snooze button on politics until mid-February at least. Right now the news feels too much like high-schoolers arguing about prom theme while the school is on fire.
