It's looking like it will begin on Wednesday for TN. If I could pick an opponent I'd go with the Fighting Cuonzos.

1) Kentucky 13-2 (Aub, TN, @FL)
2) Auburn 11-4 (@KY, TxAM, @TN)
3) LSU 10-5 (TxAM, @Ark, GA)
3) Florida 10-5 (@TN, @GA, KY)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5) Mississippi State 9-6 (at Mizz, at USC, Miss)
5) South Carolina 9-6 (at Bama, MSU, at Vandy)
7) Texas A&M 8-7 (at LSU, at Aub, Ark)
8) Alabama 7-8 (USC, Vandy, at Mizz)
8) Tennessee 7-8 (FL, @KY, Aub)
10) Arkansas 6-9 (at GA, LSU, at TxAM)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
11) Missouri 6-9 (MSU, at Miss, Bama)
12) Georgia 4-11 (Ark, FL, at LSU)
12) Ole Miss 4-11 (Vandy, Mizz, at MSU)
14) Vanderbilt 1-14 (@Miss, at Bama, USC)

Ole Miss and Vandy are about the only teams playing equal or worse to us right now. If I had to choose, I suppose it’d be one of them.

Looks like vandy is our most likely opponent, assuming we slip to the 11.

The only first day opponent I would rather not see is Georgia. I think we handle the others, but Georgia gives us fits athleticly.

TN might have wrapped up an opening day bye. They have the tie breaker with Missouri. If there's a 3-way tie with Ark and Mizz though, I'm not sure.

Need to stay off of 8/9 and avoid Kentucky on Friday.

Really need the 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, or 13 seed. The 8 and 9 seeds are bad (Winner of 8/9 faces Kentucky on Friday)

Now 6, 7, 10, or 11. Can't fall to 12 or 13. If TN ends up in the Wednesday round (as the 11, which is a long shot... Missouri and Arkansas must win out and TN loses to KY and Auburn... even then it's a 3-way tie and TN probably doesn't finish behind both with the tie breaker) they'll play Vandy.

I believe that the 3-way tie breaker if Ark/TN/Mizz are tied for 9, 10, 11 is head-to-head.

TN 2-1
Ark 2-2
Mizz 1-2

I think that TN is guaranteed a Wednesday bye. TN is looking at #4 through #10 seed (without examining every scenario with ties... #4 might not be possible).

EDIT: actually Bama and/or TXAM could also factor into 5 teams tied at 8-10... SO TN MIGHT NOT HAVE a Wednesday bye locked up.

Looking like 8/9 and a possible TN v KY rematch is very much in play. Getting to #7 would be outstanding.

SC and MSST close with really easy games unfortunately, so looks like 7th is about best case...a loss Saturday and we are likely 8/9.

With all healthy and games together under their belt, looks like the starting five are finally starting to mesh. (knock on wood)

I think we can get as high as 6 if Florida loses to UGA and UK and we beat Auburn.
