It's simple actually. If Texas wins tonight, they play Virginia Tuesday and most likely beat them. We would have to beat MSU Tuesday and then beat Virginia. We would then have to beat Texas twice. I like our chances better facing Texas in the losers' bracket where we only have to beat them once. In other words, I'd rather be put in the position of having to beat Virginia or MSU twice.
