Missouri in the Southeastern Conference? Does not compute.

We're reaching a point where it's about TV markets, not what makes sense. TCU is joining the Big East. Does that make sense?

We're far more likely to get A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Missouri (Kansas City and St. Louis markets maybe?) At the very least it will establish the SEC in the major TV markets in Texas, except Austin.

It would seem strange to locate the SECCG so far away from most of the SEC teams.

Because Atlanta is a far more "destination" stadium as opposed to that monstrosity that Jerrah built? Please.

it's not about how glamorous the stadium is. no one is debating that; although, i don't much care for the new cowboys stadium. it's about proximity of most sec teams. Atlanta fits the bill pretty well.

Mizzou's sports definitely own the St. Louis market

We could call it the SCC instead of the SEC.

Most southerners wouldn't even pronounce it differently anyway, I sure don't.

SCC = Southern Cash Conference.

I could see teh SEC doing a dual rotation similar to what the Big 10 has proposed...I believe they are rotating between Indianapolis (Lucas Oil) and Chicago (Allstate Arena???).

So I could see the SEC doing Atlanta (GA Dome) and possibly New Orleans (Supersucker) or St Louis (Ed Jones Dome).

Switch out OU for Clemson and do some rearranging of the divisions. There's gotta be a better way to arrange the teams to have the talent a little more spread out.

I don't think Clemson, FSU, or GA tech will.....people in the south just seem to really like this idea of unified southern schools or something i guess? (articles seem to reflect something like this based off of area)

....maybe Va Tech's still possible, but surprising

I don't see why FSU or GA Tech couldn't be in the SEC, especially FSU. They've both already got great rivalries with their respective instate SEC schools, and it would make those games even better if conference wins were on the line. Plus, FSU has been a perennial powerhouse for the past 20 years.

I'd love to see GA Tech and VA Tech in the SEC. I don't care much for A&M or Clemson joining.
