2022 a giant leap forward

I can't see how next year will be better than this year over all. We are going to be short players because of the Cornbread penalty , we are going to be starting a rookie qb who got almost no playing time, and we will be losing seniors. The only thing in our favor is we won't have Milton to drag down the team.
I just hope we are more athletic and faster in the secondary. That group has devoid of talent for a while.

You have to be miserable to try and minimize what was done last year as a fluke
I think you are misunderstanding my point. Last year was not an accurate portrayal of where the program is at personnel wise. We just happened to have a quarterback who played amazingly well and had very good receivers. But, I don't think it was a sign of where the program was as far as a consistent level of personnel goes. Once a lot of those personnel left, I think we saw where the program is. It's still very much better than it has been, but it's going to take a little more time to get it consistently as good as last year (or better).

lol if we win less than 8 games heupel will have the hottest seat in the country going into 2025. That’s an objective fact.
It’s going to be tough to get 8 I know some will disagree and say it’s negative but once again if you look at the history it will support my thoughts

The "fluke" was Milton getting injured in 2021, and Heupel being forced to start Hooker.

Otherwise we'd have had 3 full seasons of Milton starting at UT.
