2022 CFP National Championship Game Thread: UGA -vs- Alabama

Heck of a touchdown throw. Bennett can make those but I didn't think UGA had a receiver other than Pickens that could make that play.

Latu spikes the ball on the TD right in front of the back judge. No call. Just being picky now. Georgia has done plenty to hand this game to Bama. Bennett is going to have to prove he can win a big game and not just be a caretaker. Don’t know if he has it in him.
Or maybe he does. Give Bennett credit for not folding after that turnover.

Looks like the 1980 jokes are coming to an end. Kirby has started making the better game plan down the stretch.

Sad thing is that wasn’t Pickens. That was a true freshman AD Mitchel

This game reminds me that Tennessee’s team is so far away from being elite.

Harsh reality of being middle of the pack at best in the SEC. If you are UT players, how you aren't motivated to hit the weight room first thing in the morning I don't know.

This is why the SEC is premier and other conferences are looking up. No gimmicks, no one-trick pony conference champions backing their way into this game. These two teams are battle-tested and have to bring it weekly.

Yep but even being outmanned we were right there with Bama through 3.

Look at the pass rush these teams get. Look at the coverage in the secondary without grabbing a jersey every single play. Look at the speed of all their defensive players.

We might have held with Bama for a bit, but we were outmatched talent wise.
