2022 NCAA Regionals and SUPER REGIONALS Discussion Thread (excluding Knoxville Super Regional)

If someoneknows, please explain what this means:

DraftKings Sportsbook:
  • Tennessee -525
  • Georgia Tech +550
  • Campbell +1300
  • Alabama State +20000
1. Also, why are the Vols a negative number?
2. What does -525 mean?

And then there's this:

Friday games Moneyline (DraftKings) Total (Caesars)

Tennessee vs. Alabama State Tennessee -4000 Over 13 (-115)
Alabama State +1400 Under 13 (-115)

3. The TINY bit I THINK I know: If someone bets the Vols for the "Over" they have to bet $115 to win $100.

4. Is that right?

I have no clue what -4000 could be
-# indicate favorite. -525 means you put up $525 to win $100. If you don't understand you shouldn't be considering betting

1. Favorites to win are always a negative number
2. -525 means if you bet $525 for VOLS to win, and they do, you win $100 for a total of $625
3. Over/under talks about the score of both teams added together, so if it was 8-6 VOLS then the over would “win”, if it was 5-3 it would lose. There are some sites that will do individual team over/understand as well.
