2022 Recruits

Man, regardless of context, UConn fans defending our coach from posters on our board makes for a freaky Friday, I swear.

The real irony is he isn't smart enough to realize his and other UConn fans' glowing endorsement of Kellie drives home my point far better than anything I could say.

Huskies love them some Kellie...

No, self-appointing myself as the forum police and trying to bully others on what they can post and where makes me feel like a big man...

Expected from you. We all know how you like to be the big man. It's okay, you can always come back to the LV fan fold. You just gotta like the LV's.

I could care less what Darth thinks. It’s not up to a UConn troll to jump on any LV fan. Shush yourself and git.
Gotta disagree here. NeedOrange was correctly calling out a complete Jackwagon who really shouldn’t be considered a LV fan. NeedOrange is more of a supporter of our program than Dearth.

I saw a picture of Justine standing next to Janiah Barker and they looked to be the same height. Janiah stated that she was now 6’4 if that helps.
She look shorter than Barker in this photo but not by much. Maybe an inch or half an inch.

Justine is not wearing basketball shoes, but a type of slipper and her hair is not up on her head....In any event, she's tall enough. (see post 5,340)

Looks dead even to me can't see any difference unless we count hair. To see who has the basketball length we would need both players to raise their arms. Barker gets about an inch with shoes. Hair about four inches.

Looks like Kara got the 16th and 32nd ranked players in this class according to ESPN.

That is pretty similar to our class quality wise, if not numbers wise, but it is a lot better than Kellie's first class was. I think Kara was hired three months later in the recruiting season IIRC, and both had Covid to deal with in one fashion or another. Not sure what the portal will bring for Duke yet so we can't make a full comparison. Also not sure if they had any players bail with the coaching change like we did or not.

Hopefully, we will keep improving on the court and that will provide the traction we need in recruiting. This is a great place to play now, and our player development is looking really, really good for the first time in a while.

me. I will continue to post anywhere the moderators allow me. Who are you to challenge the moderators authority to allow me to post. If you have a problem with the facts of my post, we can discuss them as rational adults. If you choose to continue with school yard personal attacks, feel free. I'm fine with it.
This one always bugs me for some reason.

Someone else mentioned it. She got a year to implement her scheme and plans so i'm wondering how polished her teams will be. Should be ahead of Kellies "first" team as she got A LOT of extra time to teach and practice with her kids. I know others think she missed out by not having games because they elected to opt out but i feel like as a new coach she had more time to navigate things not being on the road and other obligations she didn't have to fulfill. She also had more time to focus on recruiting and targets as she had more time to do so. Not an excuse just a fact.

This is what I believe to be a fact.Duke is a brand and Kara Lawson is a brand who hasn't coached. People are doing the wait and see approach with her.If she wins recruits are going to flock to her at Duke

They are already flocking to her and she coached 3 games in her coaching career

Besides Iowa and SC (and possibly Alabama) We will be able to tell more about her coaching in the ACC. She should fare well as some of the top teams are not as strong which will allow her more time to adjust and be successful.
