the key is to have a neutral site halfway in-between the 2 schools with a fairly short driving distance, venue typically needs to be a minor league park or some other special faciltyYeah, that's why I thought it might be non-conference. Tennessee and Vanderbilt should do that. Tennessee and Arkansas would've been cool this year.

Hope they can take at least 1 from Georgia. Two would be great, because I think we’ll drop at least 1 to Auburn.
It is funny looking back we thought the early part of our schedule was brutal. Now Vandy may still pull it together but Mississippi and Vanderbilt were no where as good as we thought.
Now Tennessee is an awesome team; but to win 6 games on road against those two teams is unreal and took some participation on both sides. The rebels are mediocre- at best, and their players, coaches and fans are rather "soft". And to be fair, they always have been. That's why their program has little post season success and very few CWS appearances. Bad luck should have given us at least 1 loss. Bad play by other teams made up for that.

I've never understood the east and west thing in baseball. It is not considered in any format is it other than the fact that you play those teams every year and rotate among the opposite side. Looks like if they were going to use the east and west thing then Hoover would be two pools and the winner of the east would play the winner of the west for the conference championship. Otherwise it is unwarranted.
