"Skyy Clark is a relatively new name to watch. Currently in the 2022 class, he will move to Brentwood Academy in Nashville from Northridge, California this spring and could also move from the 2022 class to the 2021 class. He is the #1 combo guard in the 2022 class right now and has to be considered a Kentucky lean, but I’ve heard from several people that Tennessee, who offered 2 weeks ago, could be UK’s biggest competition in this recruitment and Clark’s father is interested in getting plenty of up close looks at Tennessee once they get settled in Nashville. His younger brother ZZ, who projects as a top tier class of 2024 guard prospect, will also play for BA next year, and has already been offered by Jerry Stackhouse at Vanderbilt."

Oh well now I want his brother more. ZZ? That's an elite name. The ZZ Top References will be off the charts.

SG will probably be a position of need in that class. Would be Vescovi's senior year, depending on Chandler and another PG in this class, Vescovi could move over to the 2, but will need some backup there.

4 years, but the point remains. One of those UK players that likely made a mistake not leaving for the NBA after his freshman season. Instead, came back and lost his starting job to Julius Randle and then tore his ACL as a junior. He was decent as a senior, but lacked any explosiveness he had prior to the injury, and coupled with his average size, was never much of an NBA prospect.

There’s obviously not much going on in recruiting, but in case you missed some discussion on the message board on Thursday afternoon there is a potentially interesting development regarding the 2022/2021 class at the moment. Five star forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, the No. 6 ranked player currently in the 2022 class, has been living and working out in Knoxville during the Covid-19 lockdown.

A member of Bobby Maze’s UnderArmour program, Huntley has some ties to the area and is also a summer time teammate of another 2022 top target, B.J. Edwards. There’s also a solid chance that Huntley-Hatfield reclassifies into the 2021 class.
