She seems to have a nice shot. Hard to tell without any stats. No one makes a highlight reel of their misses.

One thing she needs to work on is finishing drives with her left hand. There were a lot of times where she had to make a harder shot than necessary because she wanted to use the right hand. This is very common in the women's game.

When she is under the basket, or getting a rebound, it looks like she uses the proper hand. It is just when she is moving that she shows a preference. Big test for her will be whether she can get in a stance and stay in front of the small, quick players.

She looks pretty athletic, and not slow. Also knows how to look for the open player and pass the ball.

Lots to work with here.

why do i feel like we are turning into Missouri state
It's hard to see this post as anything other than a slap at this prospect, Justine Pissot. Just going off the highlight video she appears to be a legitimate 6'2" wing with above average ball handling skills and good range on her shot. I like that she can go from the dribble to a jump shot in one fluid motion. She is listed as the #49 player in her class... which of course, isn't bad, and she has yet to begin her junior season. So, obviously that can change... and I think it will, in the right direction. This is definitely not the type of player who signs with Missouri State.

why can't we all keep it positive good or bad. Tell me why vols is turning into M.S because she's white?? If she fight for top players and it didn't work then she get someone closer to the top and be willing to work on them.

Per Maria Cornelius, Justine is now 6’4 and is described as a pure shooter 🙌🏼

We have a roster of 13 for this season, 4 seniors and 2 juniors.
For 2021, we have 4 incoming freshmen. Correct me if I'm in error. According to my calculations, we have room for a total of 4 recruits in the 2022 class.
(Of course, this is barring transfers or other unexpected movements in the roster)

Will McCoy have exhausted her eligibility after this season? For some reason, I thought she might have another year to play.

I knew I wasnt the only one who thought Jaiden had 3 years of eligibility as she only played 1 full year at the JUCO level

Damn guys, this girl can shoot, and she shoots way behind the heartbreak line...
Plus by all accounts, one hell of a fine young lady....

Put her as a freshmen, with Puckett, and Striplin in their sophomore season here, and mercy me, the 3 balls are going to be flying high here....

It's going to be FANTASTIC!

If this girl does not excite you, check your pulse, you may already be dead...

Your numbers are correct ..... I am always checking for positions needed and number of scholarships available! Justine is coming in 2022 , T. Key and Saunders senior year . No bigs in 2020 but Strickland and Pucket at 6’2” will be sophomores that year ! Kelley could be going for more of a 5 out roster and after 6’2” plus shooters ??? But if Justine is truly 6’4” then a big is not a must for 2023 ! JMO ( This is the year for another top ten player ). Another Horston or ball handler/slasher/scorer

Too me ..... Kelly is going after a more modern type team where everyone is a scorer verses the traditional..... Point guard , shooting guard , forward, and center . Time will tell ?🤷‍♂️

She can apply for an extra year (and will probably be granted one) but all indications point to her making this her last year. It can change over time though

Looks like she came in with this opportunity but will we need her ? Key and Saunders as seniors and Puckett and Strickland coming in as Freshmen. I like her fiscal game but need PT for the freshmen . JMO

This is a grand start to 2022. You all stay tuned for some more news for Kellie and 2022. Sorry Darth, I’ve not got much news on Banghart’s ‘22 class. 🙄🙃

To be fair UNC class of 2021 is loaded #2 in the country, So i`m not sure how much room they will have on there roster for 2022. The are in the running i know for CG out of NC indya nivar her game is like Maya Moore. As for Justine i don`t know much about her never seen her play so i will hold my judgment.

I agree but I wouldn't be against her staying because of her Veteran presence and us not having to force one of the freshman into a starting spot.

2019-2020 ALL-SHORE GIRLS BASKETBALL : THIRD TEAM

Justine Pissott, Red Bank Catholic
Sophomore Guard 6-2

Pissott and 6-4 sophomore center Ally Carman played off each other's strengths. Carman's work inside, where she dropped 13.8 points a game, balanced the damage Pissott inflicted from distances are to comprehend.

It's not just her size that makes Pissott so difficult to contest when she elevates on jumper from 3-point territory, an area from which she fired in 67 threes while averaging 12.8 points. It's her blink-of-an-eye catch and release that doesn't give a defender enough time to get a futile hand up to offer a challenge.

That length is also a handy tool on the defensive end where she contests and alters shots around the paint. Her reach when sliding into a defensive spot in the lane denies entries to the post and intrudes on passing lanes, which created numerous chances for deflections that triggered the Caseys into transition mode.
