Hate to keep talking about our guard play, but wow can't shoot or pass just dribble the clock down then a post has to try a shot. Johnson is by far the best point guard over Kelly. Osborne has been streaky needs to get into one of those streaks of making some shots.

That’s what I found funny about Morris saying Mulkey didn’t prepare her. (Or her other 3 or 4 coaches). Kim made her look considerably better than her true PG abilities. At best she would be a very undersized 2 in the w.

She maximizes their strengths well. I personally think Morrow is more 'skilled' than Reese but Reese is just a gifted rebounder. But unless Reese commits to making the changes she needs to grow her game offensively, she will flame out in the WNBA. Skill wise she is so far behind the ball on Kim's recent posts between Nalyssa Smith, Egbo, Cox, Kalani Brown. She disappeared in the SC game for a reason, their freshmen post Sa'Myah Smith actually impressed while Reese threw up brick after brick vs Cardoso and Boston

I will go ahead and call my shot now, Mikaylah Williams will be their star next year and I have full confidence in that statement for a freshmen. Reese will probably get back into form eventually but it will be painfully obvious who the more skilled player is

If the U.S. — big IF — can somehow get this win, I’m smiling huge inside just thinking that chances are great that Rickea will be named MVP. 😀

The fact that Brazil is used to playing together is killing us. They just know how to get it done. And the U.S. has pressed the panic button. Ugh.

Betts rebounds, other than that I see why she didn’t play at Stanford.
only shooter on the team appears to be Rickea. Not impressed with Spears defense, but this is only game I have watched and Brazil has a very veteran team. Bunch of old girls.

Personally these games dont reflect entirely most of these kids as players but this is a team sport. USA looks like a team playing as a scrap of parts, Brazil is a team with ball movement and chemistry.

I wouldn’t count on that. Having this kind of kick-in-the-ego could be the best thing that ever happened to her. She may grow from this and come into next season a better player.

I don’t want Reese to fail. I just want Tennessee to win! 😃

Reese is just Awful. There is a reason this is her first USA team appearance. On the positive side, the Lady Vols have scored half of the USA's points this game. Ethridge also looks out of her league as the head coach.
