Can't imagine another RB would come from the HS ranks this year. It would have to be a guy who would be a starter over the guys we currently have so he'd have to be one fine RB. Good luck to Bishop but I don't see him in this class.

Backs are at high risk of injury. Then there are other factors that make a coach insert an alternate. Strange things happen. Just ask Dustin Henderson, Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, and Eleven. Strange, strange things.

I'm amazed at the class CJH and staff have assembled. While the #9 ranking is nice, the real measure of this class is how well it matches the roster needs. Every position group gets valuable adds, but those of real need get major upgrades. I really like the priorities in this class. This might just be a cornerstone class of CJH's tenure. And to get 15 of the signees on campus for the bowl practices is awesome. Great day to be a Vol.

That's what it looked like to me too. Davis had tweeted out a couple days ago he was signing his NLI in the gym w/a Vols message though, so looks good.

Sounds like the staff has passed on him.

Pretty clear this staff knows the type of kid they want in the locker room. They won't take based on a star rating if the fit in the "culture" isn't there. While I would like all the 4 and 5 star guys we can get, I'm fine with passing on those who just don't fit our program. Yeah, that sounds like trying to sugar coat not beating the uga, bama and osu's of the world in recruiting, but I really do believe in guarding the culture. Over the decades, I've seen what a bad egg or three can do to a program.
