Penix, Williams, Nix, & Ewers seem to be the betting favorites.

Not sure who else. Dillon Gabriel (OU), McCarthy (Mich), Daniels (LSU) look really good.

Washington St & Miami QB have the stuff too.

Going to be another QB filled Heisman ballot. Any other non-QBs besides Corum?

Will Penix finally get the trophy? He's got my vote so far.

Right now I got Penix first with 2-4 of Gabriel, Williams and Nix being interchangeable.

I think it's Williams to loose again at this point. I think Penix deserves to be #1 but the lack of national exposure will hurt him a bit. Every USC game is on national TV.

For Williams to win again he will have to be head and shoulders above all other candidates. Voters tend to get fatigued with a player after he’s already won one.

There’s been a lot of fantastic QB play so far this year. But if I had to pick a top 3 right now I’d have to go with Williams, Penix, and Cameron Ward. With Hartman and Nix at 4th and 5th. I’d like to see a non-QB step up and put themselves in the conversation, but right now it seems a little early to pinpoint a guy like that.

Williams is the best player. It will likely come down to the Washington-USC game, especially if both are still unbeaten.

Hartman had his chance to make his case for the Heisman Saturday and didn't do it.

Good ball being played in the PAC 12 this year. I really hate that conference is dying as I always liked the conference.

Washington and USC play November 4th. The outcome of that game likely decides the winner.

Same. Stanford and USC have been playing one another for 118 years, now they likely won't play again. The PAC screwed itself, and its litany of miscues is substantial. I always loved watching USC-UCLA and the Rose Bowl when it was one of those teams usually facing Michigan or Ohio State. Keith Jackson calling the game (so much better than ANYONE) calling games today.

They always played a different brand of ball out there and it was really interesting when SEC and Pac12 teams got together. Yep USC-UCLA is fun. So is USC-Cal, Civil War, Apple Cup, and more. Washington occasionally jumps up with a really good team, Oregon as well. It was just unique.

Agree on the fun of watching the PAC 10/12 over the years. Except I’ll take Sean McDonough over Jackson all day long. Especially over the 1998 “left a bad taste in my mouth fake retirement” Keith Jackson.

I would put Rattler as a finalist. He has played well and it’s not his fault they didn’t block for him during the superbowl.

Other than his game against us, his stats are pretty amazing considering his lack of an O-line. And even though the stats look bad against us, he didn't play poorly. He'd only like to have one throw back - the pick.
