No disrespect to ROSARIO and I understand she is like 6'5 but I am not impressed with her up to this point. I have watched several games and yes she does rebound well over HS kids half her size but she is very soft and not physical under the basket. Very slow getting up and down the court. JmoShade, Rosario, and Dews would be good class.
Tennessee needs a big in '23 once Tamari graduates. Even if she's soft, she's also like 15-16 years old. She'll get stronger by the time she's ready for college. No disrespect to ROSARIO and I understand she is like 6'5 but I am not impressed with her up to this point. I agree with you that she is a little slow running the court, but she is one of the highest recruited centers number 3 at her position out there. I think she has good touch around the basket and could be a dominant scorer inside. Her size and strength could be a factor against certain teams and a problem against some others. Personally 6'2" to 6'4" inch players that can run the court have length would be my choice whether they were listed as centers or not.No disrespect to ROSARIO and I understand she is like 6'5 but I am not impressed with her up to this point. Would add that they also need to be a rim protector. Tamari has kept Tennessee in so many games in spite of her not being much of a scorer. Would be a shame to lose that again.Personally 6'2" to 6'4" inch players that can run the court have length would be my choice whether they were listed as centers or not.

Hannson seems to have the body type to be a rim protector. She has the length and decent reaction time. We missed on Smith who I think is going to be a really great rim protector for LSU I thought her ranking by Hoopgurlz was way to low. Most of the centers I've seen ranked in the 2023's are big husky type players like Kashi.Would add that they also need to be a rim protector. From what little film I've seen of Hannson, I am not impressed. Hopefully, if she commits, she will grow and improve. I am sure the coaches see potential in her. I also worry since international players typically have to adjust to the speed of the college game. I wonder how that would go for a true post player vs Marta or another guard.Hannson seems to have the body type to be a rim protector. She has the length and decent reaction time. The UConn grad transfer Juhasz was an immediate impact player at Ohio State and was first team All Big 10 by her sophomore year. I think it's more that if they can play, then they can play...regardless of where they grew up playing the game. I'm pretty sure that the Sabally sisters from Oregon were also international post players who transitioned to the college game quickly. Charlotte Kohl from MSST maybe wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't 6'5 and 105 lbs...From what little film I've seen of Hannson, I am not impressed. Hopefully, if she commits, she will grow and improve. She seems to have more length and more speed than the post players I've seen in the 2023 class. I agree she seems a little uncoordinated, but that is true of a lot of players that grow tall quickly. I like that she can shoot long range and runs the floor fairly well. It will be April before she could sign with anyone and Tennessee is not the only school giving her a look. I'll just trust the coaches on this one and whatever they decide to do. I don't think 2023 is a very good post player class would rather have Hannson than most of them or even better an experienced transfer. I have to believe Tennessee is high on her since every coach is following her and she is following them. From what little film I've seen of Hannson, I am not impressed. Yes, I thought she looked slightly uncoordinated too, but I trust that the coaches know what they are doing. Do you know what other schools are recruiting her? I noticed she was followed by Iowa State and Texas Tech's coach. She seems to have more length and more speed than the post players I've seen in the 2023 class. I think Colorado and South Dakota and the two you mentioned and many of the Mid Major schools like Louisiana Tech, Arkansas St. a lot of others. I think most just giving her a look like Tennessee. She isn't even playing now think Sweden is still locked down over covid. I really don't know how serious Tennessee is about her guess we'll find out by April. The competition she is playing is not ideal. If they could get in the Fiba tourney would be a lot easier to determine if she has enough skills that could be developed to play in WCCB. Tennessee needs a center to come in next season sure they are looking in a lot of places. The only film I see of her looks like she has a terrific long rang stroke and is good at catching and scoring in the pic and roll. I'm not high or low on her whatever the coaches decides trust their decision.Yes, I thought she looked slightly uncoordinated too, but I trust that the coaches know what they are doing. She dominates in Sweden which is not like domination anywhere else. She averages around a double double there which could be 4 points and 3 rebounds in some other places. That is why it is hard to know what kind of player she is or capable of being. She's an 18 year old at the end of first semester Jr year HS? She should be dominating at that level!
Ah, we're talking about different people. I was talking about Del Rosario when I made the comment about being 15-16, not Hansson. She dominates in Sweden which is not like domination anywhere else. Not sure, but we definitely will need a couple. Does anyone know anything about Letycia Vasconcelos? 6-7 post and She is in hoopgurlz rated, right after Rosario? Without picking any posts up for the 2022 class, we will be very young in the post the next year. Maybe Kellie is working her way to a 5 out or positionless style of basketball. If we don't pick up some Posts in a hurry, we may not have a choice in the upcoming years.Who are the bigs were targeting for this class?
