Agree. We’ve been to several and we aren’t going this year. And I dont even want to figure up the amount spent on travel over the years. I’m afraid to know the amount. Haha.

I’ve already ballparked my expenses for next year with tickets going up and it’s absurd. If I keep the same seats I’ve had, and attend 6-7 weekend series like I normally do, it’ll cost $6,000 in tickets, lodging, gas and food. I gave up football tickets for baseball due to better economics and more games. Crazy to think I got in at $350 total for 2 tickets, and next season I will average $333/game in total expenses. Obviously some of this can and will be offset by selling the mid-weeks I can’t attend, but it’s becoming astronomical if you live out of town.
