President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 while traveling Wednesday in Las Vegas and is experiencing “mild symptoms” including “general malaise” from the infection, the White House said.

Joe responded by thanking General Malaise for his fine work - I'm not kidding; look this guy was a helluva General

My niece just tested positive for COVID…she’s young and it is no big deal but doctors definitely still test for it.

My daughter works at a nursing home and they occasionally have an outbreak and put on the masks…still a bit of a concern in that population.

I know this.

If some of the most powerful and power hungry people in the world were encouraging me to step aside, and I refused, and then suddenly I got sick….I would be anxious AF!

In a nursing home? Of course it’s a big deal. An outbreak of influenza would be a major cause for concern in a nursing home.

I work in a Nursing Home/SNF as a Rehab Director. We are in outbreak status and have much stricter guidelines. In the past two years+… we have not had a single covid patient sent out to the hospital. Contrast that to the flu before Covid began… We lost 27 patients in one winter due to an outbreak(it was bad that year) Our response to this disease continues to make no sense at all.

I am definitely not one to try to defend our country’s COVID response. I was responding to a statement that suggested COVID was no longer a thing doctors bothered to test for.

Emerson (look at that sample size!) showing every "swing state" breaking for Trump, seeing him gain ground in all but one while Biden loses ground in each, is tough especially as Trump inches closer to 50% in Pennsylvania. With Data For Progress, Biden's loss in support relative to 2020 is striking and in and of itself enough to guarantee a Georgia win while pulling Pennsylvania even further to Trump territory.

Where I live, the majority don’t test for it. They don’t treat covid and just treat the symptoms. The quarantine rules are similar for other illnesses as well. No or lessening symptoms….you don’t have to quarantine. Quarantine until 24 hours after your fever has broken. A test really serves no purpose to but to waste money.

Yeah, I was sick two months ago, and they tested covid, flu, strep.. negative for all..it was too severe for a cold.. and they were like oh well..random respiratory virus (I’m pretty sure it was RSV.. but that’s not what they were looking for).. we are guilty of tunnel vision in healthcare like any other humans, I suppose.. they tend to test for what they are seeing in the community at large

I would like to see a Biden interview where he answers the following questions:
- tell me some of the highlights of your yesterday?
- what recent domestic event occurred and when did it happen?
- who was on stage with you at your last press conference?
- what was the format of your last debate?
- how many people are on your cabinet and what are their names?
