The rules are tighter. They can't buy any "I approved this message" ads.

the campaign wouldn't control the funds - it would be the DNC. No "i'm "x" and I approve this message. Not sure if there are coordination issues like campaigns and PACs.

Yeah, it's a bunch of refunds if Harris isn't on the ticket (if they want to do the "right" thing, which obviously isn't a foregone conclusion). How quickly/efficiently those refunds can be processed, and then what percentage of the refunded money will then be re-routed to the new candidate of "choice," is a good question.

Plenty of people who donated to Biden/Harris would gladly donate to X/Y, sure, but that money is comprised of countless donations up to $2.7k/person. I think you'll need some immediate Super PACs funded by the elite of the elite to shore up any difference.
