We hit rock bottom in '16 with the trump nomination and election.

Good lord .... this isn't 1964 anymore, and the Democrats still have the convention to garner name recognition for their nominee .... and if it is Gov. Beshear? The only candidate who will need any luck is Donald Trump.

Do you guys actually beleive your own words? Can you really be this out of touch. At this moment Trump is the most popular politician in the entire world possibly.

Even with a solid candidate, I think a lot of people have been turned off by the Democrats shenanigans while Trump's support (since the assassination attempt) is only climbing. The assassination attempt was a pivotal turning point in this election and I don't think anyone is beating Trump now.

Coming up shortly, the next minefield, Harris will be asked to take a clear side in the Israel/Hamas conflict. She will try and walk a fine balance but the activists will demand that she pick a side. Then she risks losing either the Jewish vote or the Muslim vote. Quite the predicament

Also .... polls showed that in 2008, about 95% of the country had never heard of Gov. Sarah Palin until she was announced as John McCain's running mate in August. By the end of September ...... 95% of Americans knew who she was. Your line of thinking is just wrong. Name recognition and familiarity will not be a problem.

She should go with Palestine because I know a lot of Jews that are very pro-Israel but will still vote D. Not sure why...

That wasn't in a good way. It was because she was a joke and said some of the dumbest comments on Earth. Tina Fey in SNL also helped the cause.

Just wishful thinking.many Americans dont pay attention close attention to politics. If you have to rely on a these people to watch a convention to know who someone is, like I said, good luck.
