@DaddyChad is your wife’s boyfriend?I was at a coffee shop this morning and this subject came up. My 4 year old son asked my wife's boyfriend Pappa Chad, that's what he calls him, is this the war where we finally defeat patriarchal climate change ? Really makes you think.
This simplifies it:At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I'm not sure I could tell you the difference in those 2 things. I know I could google, but don't feel like it. When is it appropriate to use each of those?
Dang, if I've crossed paths with 85SugarVol anywhere, I think I'm guilty of grinding his gears...This simplifies it:
For i.e. ("id est"), substitute "in other words" or "to clarify."
For e.g. ("exempli gratia"), substitute "for example."
Then you will know which one is appropriate.
No! Only partially correct.Dang, if I've crossed paths with 85SugarVol anywhere, I think I'm guilty of grinding his gears...
I was only ever smart enough for pig latin, (i.e. not the real thing). Is that right??
A lot of us take breaks. No biggie.
I think it is a good reminder than none of us should take exchanges here personally or seriously. In fact, BB posted a few days ago something very perceptive...most of us in the PF are bored and waiting forfootballBASEBALL!! season.
