Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday received the endorsement of both Nashville’s current mayor, Freddie O’Connell, as well as former Mayor Megan Barry, who resigned in 2018 after it was revealed she used public funds and resources to facilitate an affair with her bodyguard.

After leaving office, Barry later had her criminal record expunged, and is currently seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination to challenge U.S. Representative Mark Green (R-TN-07).

This is going to be close. It shouldn't be, but it is. Trump will keep it close. He seems to keep forgetting he needs more than the folks attending his rallies to win the election.

IF the Rs put Trump in the basement and let Vance do all the talking, would probably go better. Trump goes to insulting Harris in his normal blunt manner, I think it is going to be very close...

Trump expected to deliver potentially ‘historic’ message at Nashville Bitcoin conference​


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville will be in the political spotlight this week with former President Donald Trump and other noteworthy politicians scheduled to speak at a Bitcoin conference.

Bitcoin 2024 will take place from July 25-27 at the Music City Center and is billed as the largest Bitcoin conference in the world with more than 20,000 people expected to attend.

Precisely. The Kamala enthusiasm would take care of itself if Trump kept (relatively) quiet and didn't go on the typical attack. She's getting a huge boost right now because libs are #excited for the #girlboss now that Biden is out of the race, but that excitement will naturally wane as the news cycle churns ever forward.

Kamala's floor is probably higher than Biden's, but the insults Trump will undoubtedly trot out are going to keep her in news cycle as a sympathetic character and the people who might otherwise stay home after looking at their checking account will feel emboldened to vote.

I am eternally amused at how frequently effect and affect are misused.

Not pointing at any one poster though, hey @McDad?

I’ve been meaning to talk about this with my son who committed this egregious error in an email to a customer.
