Most people don’t really make their voting decisions based on Vice President. (I mean, look at Biden/Harris in 2020). Vance would have to do something really stupid to cause Trump to lose votes. He can, however, be a very effective in person candidate to boost Trump in the rust belt states. I expect to see him do very few TV appearances but to spend 90% of his time doing stump speeches in those states
