MINNEAPOLIS — A bar owner whose nearly century-old watering hole was torched by rioters during the 2020 George Floyd riots slammed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as a “criminal” who let the city descend into a lawless hellscape by refusing to immediately call in the National Guard.

Bill Hupp, who owned the Hexagon Bar in the Seward neighborhood, roared that the fiery destruction of his family-run business rested on Walz’s shoulders.

“It’s just complete neglect of the people you are supposed to represent,” the 74-year-old father of six said of Walz’s actions at the time.

Hupp’s Hexagon Bar was burned down during the riots after George Floyd was killed by police officers.

“He could have called [the guardsmen] in [but] he didn’t,” Hupp added. “I didn’t have a drop of water put on my place. Not a drop of water for those three and a half days! Crazy. It’s [a] complete loss of leadership, totally.”

you can knit pick any one of these but overall, the decision, for me, it appears to be an easy decision.

Trump will go down in history as one of the worst Presidents our nation has ever endured.

I honestly understood folks opting for him over Hillary in '16, but at this point, fool you twice, shame on you.

I wanted someone from the left to lay out reasons to choose Harris. These are the closest posts I've seen in this thread to show the general mindset of a typical voter from each party.

I will be voting for Trump because I agree with the reasons in @Buddy’s Bandit's post more than I do @MontyPython's post.

Lol. Sure thing . Shows zero reason why they are leaving. Place looked packed when he did a shot inside. And that sure as heck wasn't tons of people leaving. Maybe just normal people. Who the hell goes to, and stays at, one of these things. Same applies to Trump. Those people, at all rallies, need a life

I remember those from 2016 this far out. It was cute. I also remember Biden leading Trump by 10 points this time of year in 2020 (Hillary too in 2016), and it was razor thin when the actual votes were counted. The betting odds changed a lot on election night. Trump out performs the polls.

Sorry to be a snarky dick about this, but it's true...

The truth is that your vote (presuming you're a TN resident) - along with most of those from pro-Trump PF voters - really makes no difference. That Trump will win Tennessee is a foregone conclusion.

My vote, however, for Harris here in North Carolina - is actually meaningful. My state is definitely a battleground that either candidate could win. The ads on TV are already non stop.

Once again, the election will boil down to the decision by voters in AZ, WI, MI, PA, GA, NC and maybe a couple other states.

The PF likely has a fair number of folks from both GA and NC. These are the minds here you should convince.

if the presidency had not been stolen from Trump, the wall would have been completed by now and mexico would have paid for it in tariffs imposed on them by Trump. And the US would not be over run with illegals, many of which are criminals and gang members sent here from other countries who emptied their prisons and mental institutions.
