2024 Presidential Race

Pretty sure. You have a third name with a legitimate chance of winning?

I have a third name that would have a legitimate chance of winning if people would quit devoting themselves to the two parties that are slowly running this country into the dirt.

Anyways, I don’t wish to argue with you nonstop, Luther. You seem like a good guy, a good dad, and you bleed orange, so we agree on what matters. Thoughts on the upcoming season?

MSNBC star Rachel Maddow shares dystopian vision of how she fears election night could destroy American democracy

  • Maddow believes election boards have been populated with Trump supporters
Maddow, an icon to blue America, has made increasingly outrageous claims over the 2024 election, including that a re-elected Trump would put her in an internment camp.

In an opinion piece published by the New York Times Monday titled 'What Worries Me Most About Election Night', the longtime commentator says she believes the RNC has put the people in place to pull off an election heist this year.

Ah yes, another good ole Rachel Maddow conspiracy theory. Although this was isn’t as bad as her “Russians are going to kill Americans by turning off the heat during the winter” one.

It is Trump's personality and character traits that most people find abrasive. Trump is narcissistic. He is egotistical to an extreme. He is also rude, self-absorbed, impulsive and pathologically dishonest. Trump is divisive even from within his own party. Look at his fight with Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. This post of yours up above was incredibly clueless.

Are you really this unaware of who your own candidate is?
Actually, deep down, he knows. He can't be that dumb. Really nothing wrong with sticking with your tribe in this country. It's a principal for which this country was founded. We can't and shouldn't all think alike. Social media has ruined the compromise that existed just 25 years ago. Negative discourse became more prominent almost simultaneously with the advent of social media. We always had two sides that vehemently disagreed, but they respected each other, compromised and generally enacted reasonable legislation

I'm always on the optimistic side. I think 10 wins in the regular season and a playoff spot are real possibilities.
Program obviously headed in the right direction and Nico may end up being a generational player.

I don’t think you can be any more of a hypocrite or show the complete lack of self awareness to talk about fighting within one’s party. I mean it doesn’t get much worse than to organize a coup against a sitting president.

I think the cable news networks have done more to facilitate tribalism and foster toxic discourse than anything. There was a time when CNN wasn't political. They covered breaking news and focused just as much on sports as anything else. They had sports anchors such as Nick Charles, Van Earl Wright, Vince Cellini, Dan Hicks, Fred Hickman, Bob Lorenz and Hannah Storm. Then Roger Ailes brought Rush Limbaugh and Fox News into the mainstream, and garnered big ratings. CNN shifted gears to compete for ratings. They should have stuck to what they were doing well.

Yes, Murdoch gave Aisles free reign to manufacture fear into an ignored sector. It was not only brilliant, but justified, to certain extent. It was a voice needed for staunch, Christian conservatives. Or so they believe themselves to be Christian

I don't think you can show any more ignorance, than to describe the DNC's anointing Kamala Harris as a "coup."

1) Biden was never the nominee. He was only the presumptive nominee.
2) It did not involve taking any power away from anyone. Biden is still the President. Harris will have to be elected in order to succeed him.
3) There were no acts of violence involved.
4) It wasn't unconstitutional. The United States Constitution does not address how parties nominate their candidates.
5) It wasn't illegal. Political parties have the right to make their own rules for how to nominate a candidate.
6) Ultimately, Joe Biden has said that it was, at least in part, his decision to step aside, which he did of his own free will ...,. before immediately endorsing Kamala Harris - his replacement.

It is ironic that Republicans suddenly consider it a "coup," to not show respect for the result of elections, especially as it pertains to an election that Joe Biden has won.

The reality is, Donald Trump's fake elector scheme and his pressuring Mike Pence into not counting electoral votes from states they lost, followed by the riot at the United States Capitol on January 6th, was much closer to meeting the definition of a "coup." But you don't really care about that, however. This is just typically hollow, ignorant rhetoric of yours.

Whatever you have to tell yourself.

Told a buddy of mind yesterday I’m predicting 9-3. Maybe that’s enough to sneak into the playoff if things fall the right way for us. 10-2 would make me pretty confident that we’re in. Hope Nico is as good as advertised. The bowl game has me feeling optimistic.

Think all we need is for him to be a half step above Milton for us to be in the playoff mix. We have a nasty DL and a secondary that I believe will be improved over the last couple of seasons (although safety opposite Turrentine is a bit of a concern to me). Feeling better about the defense than I have in a while.

"I hear you. I get it. I really do, but she really eats a lot of Doritos and her laugh is a bit unsettling. So I'll have to go with the convicted rapist. Law and Order baby." - GOP voter.

MAGA, b**ches!

Am I to understand that Elon Musk has banned that video from X?

Hmmm ..... I wonder if the Republicans who used to cry foul over censorship will object to that? Somehow, I doubt it.

It's all good .... the Harris/Walz campaign is running a nationwide commercial, which contains those comments from JD Vance bashing Donald Trump. You will be seeing a lot of that video in the next two months, even if it's not on X.

She posted "it's banned on twitter" on twitter. He's better at launching shat in space than banning things. One seems harder than the other

Kamala Harris Platform Promises More Migrants, More Amnesty, and More Government

The Democratic Party 2024 platform celebrates President Joe Biden’s disastrous welcome for millions of foreign migrants and it promises further increases in migration via multiple new channels, regardless of the impact on Americans.
