I get so aggravated when they say ‘hate speech is not protected’ well, actually it is. All speech is protected and any actual lawyer will tell you that.. my neighbor from Chicago who is a flaming liberal, and an attorney: ‘I may think what you say is vitriolic and stupid, but I will fight until my last breath for your right to say it’ because who is the arbitrator of what is real/ false/truth/hateful.. it is our legacy and birthright as Americans to be able to say what we want. (Just don’t yell fire in a crowded theater)

KH supporters simply don’t care. She paints with a very broad, ambiguous brush w/ little to no specifics. The ONLY issue they care about is “just not Trump”.

If they are able to list her policies, how dumb would they sound to say they support of a 44% capital gains tax, 25% unrealized gains tax (which will be a disaster in the markets), $25K first time home buyer tax credit = home prices going up even more because it only addresses the demand side. There’s already plenty of demand. Help the pace of increase in new constructions with loosening onerous, nonsensical regulations. Serious disconnect with reality for these folks.

I could live with some targeted tax increases, even a .05 or 1% national sales tax ear marked for debt reduction if it was tied to a spending freeze, preferably spending cuts. She mentioned an “opportunity economy” for everyone. My gosh, what have people been doing if they haven’t been participating in the American economy over the past 10/20/30 years?? There’s been nothing BUT opportunity, better than anywhere else in the world.

Trump’s biggest problem since becoming President in 2016 is that he hasn’t been able to get out of his own way, keep his mouth shut and just BE presidential. I loved seeing Hillary punked and vanquished, but he has missed every almost opportunity since then.
