The families of the fallen soldiers invited him to be there. The one responsible for their deaths is sitting on a beach somewhere right now on vacation. There was an approval for them to have a photographer. Any disagreement would’ve involved a staff member not Trump himself. If it were that big a deal ANC wouldn’t have allowed the photo op period; this was blown up by the media.

Trump isn't getting good campaign advice.

After the Army requested he not bring a photographer, his campaign needed to shift, provide a very good camera to a "family member" involved, and let them release a big thank you to Trump on social media.

Same results. No controversy if the photos come from a "family member" and even better optics for him to get praised by them.

I blame his handlers.

😂 anything that casts him in a sympathetic light bothers the F out of them. Hell they were arguing his assassination was staged at first then he wasn’t really shot with a bullet. It’s beyond pathetic the lengths their crappy party goes to in slandering a political opponent.

I don’t think Trump is a great guy or anything but I also think there has absolutely been a campaign to smear the absolute crap out of him while shielding Kamala. The FBI, and justice system has absolutely been used against him as well while excusing away violations from the other side. The guy was almost assassinated and that absolutely appears to have some political element behind it whether it be involvement, understaffing or incompetence.

If you're thinking I'm a Biden/Harris fan you're sadly mistaken. Trump said he'd show us Hillary's fraudulent votes, give us great healthcare and get Mexico to fund a border wall. If you're thinking I'm shocked by political lies, you'd be incorrect. I'm actually shocked when one of the slime balls tells the truth.
