I think he has Parkinson’s and if so, he really shouldn’t be president until January.. you can actually have episodes of psychosis and is very unpredictable in its progression.. while we are quibbling about the why of him dropping out this actually pretty scary stuff

Early onset dementia. Probably only has about 8 more months of properly functioning lucidity. There is no recovery, hence having to remove himself from the race.
