We have advisors on the ground now, that's "troops" we have huge fleet in the area again that's "troops". I know we always have a fleet in the area but it seems more than normal.

With that said you're saying Harris won't lead us into another war.

It doesn't make sense that there should be some sort of paper trail of covid test being sent to Putin? Why would there not be?

On the cult part. What cult am I apart of? the maga cult? A quick scroll through my post would easily prove that to be nonsense. As a matter of fact, show me one pro Trump post that I have made. Like you said though, people in a cult aren't self aware.

Honest question - are you saying it's a big deal because you think American lives were lost because of it? Or just the fact that he would supply Putin with anything is a big deal because Putin/Russia is awful?

I'm certainly no Trump cultist, and I can see the point that this would establish some kind of weird friendship between Trump and a horrible dictator. But COVID tests? meh. Looking back, we WAY over-tested in this country. I would argue that was a much more critical mistake leading to a shortage than if some leaked their way to Russia. And side note... the fact that public health officials and political leaders whose pockets they were in have yet to be held accountable for illogical, draconian, idiotic policies still burns me up. Now, if he had been send pallets of baby formula during the formula shortage to Putin? That would be a big deal.

I'd have more confidence in the prediction markets if I hadn't spent decades watching Notre Dame lines go completely goofy on Fightin' Irish fanbase copium. Whichever side has more whales will distort the market.

Which is more cult like; a political party where the leadership picks the next leader with no input or pushback from the members, or a party where the membership demands a different leader than the one the elders try to foist on them?

I don't know if it's nerves or stupidity, but Kamala is apparently incompetent at this. This is not a hard question to prepare for. It's unbelievable to me that this person could very well be our next president.

To set the stage, Kamala had already flubbed badly the question from The View on whether she would have done anything differently than Biden. So she goes on Colbert's show, and very predictably gets asked another variation of the same question. I'm sure Colbert is like, surely she's thought of a better answer to this by now and this will help get her out of the ditch she just dug herself. This is how that went....

Colbert: "Polling shows that a lot of people. especially independent voters, really want this to be a 'change' election, and that they tend to break for you, in terms of thinking about change. Uh, you are a member of the present administration, but under a Harris administration, what would the major changes be, and what would stay the same?"

Harris: "sure, well obviously I'm not Joe Biden, so that would be 1 change [giggles a little]. But also, it's important to say that with 28 days to go, I'm not Donald Trump... and so when we think about the significance of what this next generation of leadership looks like were I to be elected President, it is about...frankly...I, I, I love the American people. I love our country. I love that it is our character and nature to be an ambitious people. You know, we have aspirations. We have dreams. We have a work ethic. And..and..I just believe we can create and build upon the success we've achieved in a way that we continue to grow opportunity and in that way grow the strength of our nation."

I remember being told in 2020, that there was no cure for covid. So, the tests were irrelevant to begin with.... just like the vaccine they forced most people to get, a money grab for the pharmaceutical companies. "Trump is bad for giving Russia covid tests" is one of the goofiest arguments I've seen.



Covid was used to lock down our country, "force" mail in voting, and steal an election.

This isn't correct according to the summary. Putin got test equipment. He didn't get test kits. As far as I know, there was no shortage of test equipment.

Vice President Harris is criticizing Donald Trump following new reporting by the journalist Bob Woodward that the former president secretly shared COVID-19 test machines with Russia’s Vladimir Putin at a moment in 2020 when tests were out of reach for most Americans.

The revelation, first reported by CNN and The Washington Post on Tuesday, is detailed in a forthcoming book called War by the famed Watergate journalist, about Trump’s record on the international stage, as well as President Biden’s.

According to the book, Trump sent the secret shipment of testing equipment to the Russian leader at the height of the pandemic in 2020, even as the U.S. and other nations were facing crippling shortages of testing kits.
NPR has not independently verified the account, which was based on interviews with unnamed sources.
