2024 Presidential Race

Time to make peace with the facts I guess

I am a deplorable piece of trash bitterly clinging to my Bible and guns and I am voting for a felon.

Let’s go!

@OrangeTsar

Obama thinks you are a bitter gun clinger.
Hillary thinks you are deplorable and irredeemable.
Biden thinks you are garbage.

Trump considers you an American!

I don't think either side honestly cares about the name-calling. It's just something to whine about. Trump spends as much time spouting insults and calling his political opponents dumb nicknames as anyone. Just like the ones posting to this forum, his supporters justify it, when it comes from Trump.
So you don’t mind the sitting President insulting Americans. Same sitting President who insulted and named called blacks well before Trump entered the political forum. As much as you want to blame Trump, he wasn’t the first.

Proof positive America doesn't need a president for our economy to function.
I argued so much about this with my wife's Peruvian family They're down there bitching that Peru seems "unstable" because they can't keep a president. My point is that maybe nobody needs one.

I keep telling them how impressed I have been with Peru's- especially Lima's- development over this same period. The cleanliness is way better, even in poor areas. Roads are getting finished, infrastructure is being built, public transport is improving drastically, and businesses are, or appear to be, doing well. Localities are the ones stepping up, just as it should be.

You're lucky right now as nobody can keep up with the medical scams. Instead of putting people in jail they just increased the number of scams. Which is why Medicare/Medicaid are basically less than 20% funded. The amounts people are paying for medical are not sustainable, what next $100k a year for coverage?

Remember AshG. His health care needs meant he was the target market for ACA coverage. He said the exchange sucked bigly.
My wife and I used the exchange for exactly one year right after we got married, before my company (very small) got coverage. We went two years without insurance.

Why? Because as young, healthy people, our monthly premium was over $1,200, with 60% coinsurance after a $6,500 deductible and zero prescription coverage. And despite being told we had "options", all the plans were basically the same with only moderately lower deductibles for the "gold" and "platinum" or whatever it was called plans. It was like paying for nothing.

“Affordable”

“Affordable”
It's only affordable if you're one of the protected classes democrats want to buy votes from.

Unfortunately, I am white, and I suppose my wife wasn't Latina enough to generate some sort of sympathy.

Fortunately, this situation opening insurance across state lines means my wife and I have insurance through my company where we only pay ~25% of the cost each month, and the total (including what my company pays) still comes out to only around $700/month for both of us. This would be considered a luxury plan, it's actually pretty great insurance.

I feel like we're watching 2015/2016 over again.
Remember that the last Western government to ACTUALLY put people into camps were the liberal Australians who literally imprisoned their own citizens in real life „leper colonies“ for refusing the jab.
Liberals always accuse conservatives of what the liberals are already doing
