1. No trump does not have our backs. he is a grifter like all the others. the only difference is he tells you to your face he is a grifter, and you think that makes him different somehow.
2. the second part of the bolded statement disproves the first part. It shows that this is about Party for you, and not actually Trump being a good candidate. especially as you guys have talked some strong crap about all the anti Trump "RINOs"
3. this is more like the football team rallying around Cuba Gooding Jr's Radio.

no the worst thing was giving Trump the attention he desired. He has always been a little kid throwing a tantrum. he's not really upset about the border, or whatever talking point of the day is, he just wants your attention. The people voting for him, I can excuse, if you are voting for the guy you should pay attention to him. if you aren't voting for him, you should have just ignored him, and let the tantrum wear itself out. instead you just added into it, feeding it more and more, and now you are sitting there wondering how it got so bad after you gave Trump exactly what he wanted.

seriously ALL of the anti-Trump rhetoric is what is keeping Trump relevant. yeah he would have some base, 15-20% of the population. but the more he was attacked, the more people were going to see him in a positive light. "he is one of us", "I feel slighted by the establishment/Dems too", "I thought the Dems were better".

I am sure many President's lied under oath we just didn't have the access to it like we do today.
Best assumption is to assume that all politicians are lying to you in one form or another and work backward from there until you figure it out.
People are lazy and let MSM and Social Media do it for them without a thought process or validation of the truth or falsehood.
And don't forget opinions are thrown into the mix and taken as fact without any explanation or validation.

its legit. I have done several jobs for the Forest Service. Their list of preferred vendors includes companies that no longer make the thing they are on the list for. they couldn't be removed from the list, and we still had to include them in the bid process. Heard it from the guy who runs the #8 Region (the entire south east).

getting on the list is just as difficult, and weird, as getting off of it. I know of a couple who were trying to get on the list, but never could just because of burearcy bs, even with the higher up approvals, and the correct paperwork.

heck even my company getting the A&E contracts we had was an ordeal, it took two years, and the only reason it happened was because we were literally the only ones who did the paperwork correctly. The old company who had it had three guys retire, we hired one as a consultant just to get through the paperwork. there was no one left at the other office to do the job. the rest of our competition literally couldn't do everything we could.

the amount of red tape when it comes to government contracts is

This is not just true in Forestry. All of the government catalogs are this broken, and many of the contract vehicles.

a couple questions:

1. they just dropped this? As in they have held onto news that Trump was a pedo/rapist until now? timing makes it seem suspicious. maybe more of the Russian Pee Tapes that Schiff has.
2. Wouldn't the FBI already have this, and be in a much better to spot to react to it than the Daily Beast?
3. Is Trump the only one they have tapes on, if so that raises its own questions like how did they acquire such specific tapes? If Trump isn't, what are they waiting on to drop the rest? I would like to see it all, instead of a pure political attack.

I'm back in Roanoke VA for a time, and back when my wife and I started dating (2015) we had a relatively split city council with a couple Republicans and at least one more conservative dem. The city was doing well- first wage growth in forever, the homeless problem downtown was being cleaned up, crime was being addressed.

Once Trump got elected the progressives went full tard and elected an extremely liberal city council into place. Crime is up, the downtown is overrun by homeless and getting filthy, economic development incentives are being heavily focused on either the rough part of town (where the cash is wasted) or on relatively useless. useless retail, the tax office is out of control attacking people and property taxes are way up, and even the little festivals are getting worse because the city government can't do their own permitting right. The best part is the turnover in the council, because what they all do is get in, grift/embezzle, then get out before they get "caught". It's awful.
