All true, but with a Trump win there is a total reset for the presidential candidates in 2028. I like the idea of a 2026 turnover of the House and Senate to R’s, but if the Dems eek out a majority in the House and Senate this time, they could do A LOT MORE damage in only two years time. I just dont know which one I would prefer.A few bright spots about Harris taking office.
1. Trump will be out of the way, he'll be either locked up or under house arrest so come mid-terms 2026 he won't be in the way.
2. The loss the Dems will take in the 2026 mid-terms will make Clinton's 1994 mid-terms look mild.
3. The Dems will no longer be able to campaign on "I'm not Trump", they'll actually have to discuss policy and record. That's a losing proposition for them.
