I looked it up. Reading Biden's comment: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”, I think he was talking about that one specific comedian.
They added the apostrophe after talking with Biden about the meaning of what he said. How in the world would a stenographer know his intent? There seems to be universal agreement that he is senile and having a hard time putting together coherent thoughts verbally. But it played perfectly into the hands of trumpers as they continue to play up the whole "they look down on us" angle. I've never seen a group of people with a more debilitating inferiority complex.

I doubt the whole garbage comment moved a lot of votes. Had the dems taken care of the border, not embraced the trans movement, and not marched us within a breath of WWIII (maybe too late for that one) then they would have stood at least a chance against Trump. Oh, and if they had actually ran a likable candidate.
