As of right now Trump is leading the popular vote count by 3.7M votes. That vote lead will come down about another million because of California. He has dominated this election all over the country but California is so big and filled with left wing zealots that the democrat party runs up a 4M vote lead in that state alone. Then they brag about how they win the popular vote because of one state like their positions are popular throughout the country.

They get to watch the rest of the country then decide how they are going to vote. I forgot the exact scenario but votes can come in really late. That's why they've only counted 2/3 of the vote then a week later they are still counting.

California has been overrun with immigration since Reagan won. Most of the people coming into the country don't care about the founding principles especially out there. It's the model they want to flood the rest of the country with one state at a time.

They had to. Keep in mind that the 13 Colonies functioned like 13 separate nations. Delaware, Rhode Island, and some of the other states would literally have not joined the United States and declared independence without the Electoral College and Senate being setup.
