This is so stupid. Trump deals in identity politics as much as anyone. I can't believe that someone ... even on here, is arguing that.

You have two different things going on:

Trump's rhetoric has a good bit of identity based commentary.
Trump's policy has little identity politics in it.

The dem's rhetoric has a good bit of identity based commentary.
The dem's policy is almost solely identity politics based.

for instance, you would think if Trump actually ran on identity politics that his support amongst the various "identities" would be lower than ever. the example you used about Mexicans/Latinos, but his support was higher. Why? because unlike the Dem's the Latino voters understand the difference in rhetoric and politics.

Trump's rhetoric was a dog whistle the Dem's were too dumb to ignore. meanwhile more voters were paying attention to what his policy was rather than just hating on the rhetoric.

I have been telling yall for 8 years, if you want to beat Trump all you have to do is ignore him and his rhetoric. but yall still can't. still just focused on what you THINK is the issue, meanwhile ignoring the results of the election.

That seems accurate based on my experience (but it is over 15+ years ago). Tennessee is well-respected. You typically can tell on how difficult they are based on how many states grant reciprocity to that state. Tennessee has 30+ states that share reciprocity.

However, I will note that the difficult from one state to another is not huge. Some states just have less essays, multi-state questions, etc.

Yeah, but scoring isn't an automatic benchmark in California.
