The peace treaty we signed with the British was pretty favorable to them and their businesses. They were still able to make money off of us, just not taxes. in fact they made so much money off of us they were able to bring India under their thumb.
I'm not sure what your point is?Che being a terrible person is a completely standalone fact. If you didn't know about Che you most certainly didn't know about Batista, and him being crap doesn't excuse anything.
I have told you time and again, popularity is the worst form of justification in my world. absolutely abhorrent, especially in cases like this where the mob is used to justify atrocities.
considering my schooling days came much later the argument about time specific bias doesn't really hold up. there is a reason Obama's visit to Cuba with the Castro's wasn't seen as popular amongst American Cubanos.
I'm assuming they hated us when we were killing their sons and fathers.....but who knows.....maybe they were good with that if they knew they were going to make a buck.got anything to back that up?

I wonder who gave him the idea?Rahm Emanuel mulling bid to steer DNC in wake of disastrous election night for Dems
President Biden's U.S. ambassador to Japan and a longtime Democrat operative is considering a run for chair of the Democratic National Committee, two sources in the DNC orbit confirm to Fox News.
The sources tell Fox News that Rahm Emanuel has been quietly reaching out to DNC committee members as he contemplates a bid to succeed the current chair, Jaime Harrison – whose term is up early next year. Harrison is unlikely to seek a second four-year posting in the wake of last week’s very disappointing election results for the Democrats, up and down the ballot.

The financial entanglements between MSNBC host Al Sharpton and the Kamala Harris campaign, revealed this week by the Washington Free Beacon, are a "black eye" for the liberal network and media industry, according to a journalism group considered the "gold standard" of media ethics.
"This kind of entanglement harms the credibility of the journalist, the news organization, and journalism overall, and credibility is difficult to restore," Rod Hicks, the director of ethics and diversity at the Society of Professional Journalists, told the Free Beacon. "While Sharpton may not consider himself a journalist, many viewers do."
