The bill is a major tightening of our laws and procedures, and it's clear that the GOP disgracefully and hypocritically aims
to play politics with it. The American public will be reminded of the perfidy of Moscow Mike and the spray-tanned virus (aka the gangster)

The Dems aren't fooling anyone. Enforce the current laws. If you believe new ones are needed stop tying other issues to the bill. Otherwise you aren't serious. Also, don't write a garbage bill and act surprised when people don't support it. For years Biden admin has been saying the border is secure. No issues. Well now why is there a problem? Who screwed that up? I mean if wasn't a problem before, but is now, how did that happen? Who took their eye off the ball? Unless it was always a problem and you just now have the cajones to admit it.

Why do we need a new bill...enforce current laws and HR 2 is already been passed by the house and is being delayed by Dems in the Senate..mm

Dude, this was actually part of the law that Georgia passed. It had to be struck down by a federal judge. So don't act like it wasn't part of the law.

Like the Inflation Reduction Act wasn’t about inflation, this bill isn’t really about the border. The executive branch has control over immigration law and border protection. He could have fixed what he unfixed himself at his pleasure. Instead he has the politicians trying to feed the people another **** sandwich while telling them it’s prime rib.
