2024 Presidential Race

1/2 of the government is controlled by the GOP. The SCOTUS is majority appointed by GOP POTUS. The majority of governors are GOP. Joes not winning by cheating. He's winning by GOP incompetence. Now good chance he's going to lose this one.
GOP really has such razor thin majority in one level of Congress, not much they can do or pass.. all you can do is throw up road blocks to stupid and bloated bills, and then you are ‘the bad guy’…but seeing as how Americans are generally pretty stupid now and don’t understand how all of this works, you are right, Biden may win it.. perception is reality

All true .... and Republicans also control a majority of state legislatures. It should also be pointed out that many of the lawsuits brought by the Trump campaign in December of 2020, were presided over by a Trump-appointed judge.

How about a moderate Republican? If you get past the persona, Trump is actually pretty middle of the road socially on a lot of things, except he is firm on the whole border invasion problem..which is a problem 😂 and that people should be able to defend themselves, which they should.. not really over the top conservative ideas.. just pragmatic ones
It's never been a policy issue with Trump.

But sure, a moderate would be great. Unfortunately, Trumpers have called them RINOs and chased them out of the party.

He was fostering an archaic stereotype of a woman's role in society being best served as a housewife. If such an address was given at my daughter's commencement? I wouldn't like it. Is it a big deal? Of course not.
He was speaking to a catholic audience whose views probably align with his. Outrage culture over other people's beliefs needs to stop, F off, and be shouted down. Dude has an opinion. Why the hell are we accepting the idea of cancelling him? Those wanting to cancel him, which I'm not saying you are, are a hell of a lot more worrisome then him

I didn't say a word about "canceling" him .... He's just a field goal kicker.

It doesn't look like everyone in attendance liked the speech. Even Catholics evolve. I agree the speech wasn't right or wrong. It was an archaic perspective. Like something Archie Bunker would have said to Meathead in 1976.

Of course not everyone agreed. Its just asinine people are acting like this is some shocking belief. We will allow outrage for this. And we will be quiet about arainged marriages, women not being allowed to drive, women forced to be be covered, or how homosexuals are treated. Seems like the left only rages if its a belief of a Christ based religion.

It's an archaic belief. It doesn't reflect life in the year 2024. Most households don't include a professional athlete, and the reality that two incomes are necessary to raise children is prevalent. That has nothing to do with anyone's religious beliefs. It's a socio-economic reality. At best, Butker was guilty of having a narrow perspective.
