I tell this board all the time that I'm a strong Harold Ford, Jr guy. It's the people that are around him that would worry me. I don't think he'd ever get back in the middle of this toxic DC dump. He is a good listen on FoxNews.

Harold Ford, Jr. would have been a good US Senator from this state. Corcoran, who got a bit sleazy during the campaign, actually did a pretty good job. He certainly wasn't going to the far right.

While I agree Corker was fairly moderate, he campaigned as a fiscal conservative and I don't think lived up to it. I voted Ford, Jr but later on Corker proved unreliable.

Corker went there to do a job for the greater good. His party let him down. He got out, as others have, that have an ounce of integrity and had the the best interest of the American people with their governing

Do you think Trump hired every one of the 150 plus employees there??? Or did someone else hire them while he was working other projects?? If you think DJT interviewed and hired every person working for him your a bigger idiot then your post show...and yes when called on it he fixed something he was unaware..the even stated he thought e verify was in all his businesses and it was at the resort so he fixed it...man if you held yourself to the same high standards you hold Trump itd be amazing.

No, but since it was his residence, he was responsible for ensuring that the people employed there were documented. As of April of 2019, many of them were not.

.... and he didn't call ICE as was the protocol of his administration at the time; nor did he fire those undocumented workers right away. They were later fired through a back channel ... after he had tried to cover up their employment.

You would never make lame excuses for a Democrat in such circumstances. We both know that.

Good for you! It could not possibly have had anything to do with policies set forth by the federal government. The economy was much stronger from 1996-1999. That's a fact.

.... and inflation was going to be a reality regardless of who won the 2020 election. Trump's fiscal policy was highly inflationary.

..doesn't do the day to day operations yet...according to your expectations he is suupposed to know everything about every employee..wow..alright...BB. Enjoy your drinks..I can see they are helping..

He is supposed to know whether or not he has undocumented workers employed at his residence, and he did know. He just has a different set of standards for himself, than he has for every other American.

... and then he tried to cover them up, by firing them through a back channel. Again, you would never make these excuses for and/or defend a Democrat like this. You are a Cult of Trump member. You will defend him for anything. This was hypocrisy and incompetence to an extreme degree.
