Really happy that Blakes and Heckel haven't signed with anyone yet was hoping they would sign with us in this early period. Not signing anywhere at least keeps us in the race.

Now seems like a good time to mention elite #35 ranked prospect Kaniya Boyd & elite #18 ranked prospect Talaysia Cooper about to be some dawgs on Rocky Top!

Boyd ain’t underrated just pay attention. Coop already got analysts talking about her debut next season. Natural born ballers.

Heckel announces tomorrow & it's not Tennessee. Don't think Blakes is coming to Tennessee either from what I have heard - still hoping that is inaccurate.

6-6 Adhel Tac on Signing day Before she signed, Tac talked to the crowd at SGP’s basketball gym about how a couple of years ago she had wanted to go to Tennessee and follow in the footsteps of Candace Parker, a seven-time WNBA All-Star who has won three WNBA titles and two MVP awards. Just asking did TN offer ?

Can't find anything one way or another on her. She doesn't post much and wbbblog doesn't show her offers, just finalists.

I think Blakes goes to Stanford. She wants to be a doctor, and you can't blame any kid for going to Stanford for that education.

Guess we might again need to get that portal warmed up come next March. We need a post player and a point guard. Were good otherwise.

Guard is the position where we are in good shape next year. Wells abd Boyd are true PGs. Wynn and Cooper can also run the point if needed. We also have Darby and Spear both likely returning next year. Then in 25, we already have one guard coming in and likely another.

We need posts, which '24 and '25 are both very thin. Tennessee will be portal hunting for sure to find center and forward players. I see the first call made when the portal opens being made to Jersey Wolfenbarger...heck, Coach Sam may just jump on a plane and be waiting to knock on her door!

UCLA saving that last scholarship for Blakes. They should have two or three in the transfer portal come March. Just to many players for everyone and three of them will be bench warmers probably the freshmen.

I can't stress enough how much NIL matters in this world. Something has to he done to help our ladies. It's a real shame we don't have businesses and individuals stepping up for oir female athletes like we have had for our male. Heck it doesn't even have to be Boost Her Club. It could be a business having a deal with a player individually. The staff is doing everything in their power to land these recruits but when someone gets 3-4x money elsewhere, do you blame them?
